i was told its bodged. but i love it lol.

Do a search, there was an ill tempered thread on here about it a while back. I'm sure the lads dad was involved, its done the rounds a few times I think was a 1.4 zetec originally

 

it's say's on the advert that the log book is still registered as 1.4 cheap insurance. if it was in fast ford i doubt it's bodged u could pm 1 of them on here and ask their opinion of it.

 

why do people still quote that old wives tale about cheap insurance, the minute you tried to make a claim without any of the mods declared it would be thrown out. Hardly cheap insurance if the car gets wiped out or stolen and you dont get a penny back.

 

u still pay cheap insurance compared to declaring everything. A risk some ppl take.

not sure why its shocking? Lots of cars look nice superficially and you'd never know they were bodged without stripping them down

 

this wasnt the car i was after. lol

 

do like them with the kit just needs cossie power!

 

i expect jamie from jamsport had something to do with this seeing as he does these conversions and he also sells and maps go tech ecus...
Maybe give him a buzz and find out???

just check the vehicle in person if your that interested...then you have full judgement.

 

Not always the case. I know of someone who had Audi leather in his VW and GTi wheels, and engine mods' and sideskirts and it went in to be fixed. The only thing that happened was the garage phoned him up and said they wouldn't replace the wheel because it wasn't declared, but the claim still went through fine.


Although I don't think I'd have the front to go round in that declared as a 1.4 though.
