Hello m8, What is wrong with the 60 gig one ? You will lose all your save game data so you will have to start your games again. Trophy information is the same I think, your Modern Warefare 2 info regarding rank and xp score is hosted on the servers I think.

Two separate Consoles mate, if you would of saved all your data from your 60GB, you coulda copied to your new system. You should still have your Trophies tho as that is saved to your PSN

You will have to start the games you have from the start again.

As for online Ranks etc they are saved on the ps network so your ok there

I had 2x 60gb ps3s get the red light of death so i went and got the 120gb slim and so far its been good, you dont get the memory card slot though which is abit naff

If the console powers up and you can access all the menu's then you can save your stuff, all you need is a usb hard drive or memory stick, plug it in and copy the info across and then do it on the new console. I've found data transfer rate via usb is slower on the slim consoles compared to the fat ones.
