Default removing sierra cosworth engine, how hard??

as above need my engine out for a rebuild but never done it before and my mate has let me down need it done on weekend really so is it really hard? is there any guides anywhere ect cheers for anyhelp people

Its easy once you have all the ancilleries off, which is what takes most of the time,also easier to do it with manifolds left on.

dont forget if its a 4wd unbolt everything and drop it out the bottom.

cheers lads ive never removed an engine before but have no option bought the car tax + mot is out so its sat on the drive reffiting wont be an issue as ill be able to get that done its just the taking it out thats worrying me also its a 2wd still not sure weather to attemt it to be honest

As it's a 2wd, it'll be a doddle mate.

As said, leave the manifolds on, make sure everythings disconnected, hoist it up carefully and slowly whilst wiggling it off the gearbox input shaft and it should be jobs a goodun!

Take your time putting into bags and labelling any removed bolts/unclipped wiring etc. May sound a bit anal, but it'll stop the head scratching when it all goes back together!
