need a piccie of a fourbie flame trap

bascically were in the middle of fitting the oil breather now and we have removed the red 2 way thingy and also the hose that goes to the plenum chamber from the 2 way thing and were left with the hose which we think comes from the flame trap with a 90 degree bend in it

what we do now as it says in instructions place alloy tube in the bend and attach new pipe ??????????????

 

There should be NO hose on flame trap.You should put hose off breather directly onto Flame trap.

Take the flametrap itself out of block to make it easier.It just pops upwards from sump then pull off old hose.

pmsl are we sure it just pops up ???? nothing holding it down anywhere ?

 

Nothing holding it in except maybe a 'O' ring may be a bit stiff but it will come. Try turn it a bit first.

its an interference fit into the block - it just need ssmoe wd40 and a lot of time to waggle and twist it until it comes free.
