Well passionford wasn't loading for me for 45 mins.

 

ive been having problems for about 2 hours

 

and now its slow as fuck and im on broadband

slow here and our line here is well over a Meg

 

Ive had to do some work for the last hour

freecell is shite but only cos I don't know how to play it I am master solitaire player, think I done it in about 2 mins before

The whole world is having large telecomunications problems at the moment, due not in the least to the fact a large part of it is fully submerged with water... Cumbria UK included.

Submerged junction boxes and cable connections do not make for reliable telephones...

The PF server is fine, we just cant always conect to it from this end it seems. Occasionally the Server cant communicate with the MYSQL system during teh same quiery, again due to line issues at our end... BT assure me that one day soon we will have great lines

 

I'd argue with that (not that I'm argumentative, just ask Spadge )

 

If you would argue with it Bill il happily concede my understanding of it is wrong

 

least its working fine now

 

i'll second Bill. Line issues at your end won't make our HTTP and MySQL server have problems communicating one with each other, this will just prevent the final request and data flow to arrive to your PC, once both servers have dealt one with each other (trying to speak with easy terms ). Which anyway causes the same thing in the end : the site does not work for you

Those to$$ers are not in my good books at the min, my mums pc was ment to have broadband on Dec 16th last year, still not got it and it will be weeks, they have to dig the road up or something
