Found this vid earlier, i'm pretty sure i'd have been at this event, around about 9 or 10 years old i suppose...it was the ONLY car that i would stop whatever i was doing and run like a mad man to watch. The noise was just amazing and the speed totally blew my mind, was one of the fastest cars i'd ever seen in the flesh (barring the single seater race cars we used to prepare) The guy who owned it passed away, he was a really committed driver and used to tow this car to events with the road going version it, which in itself was a rare beast!!

Truly awesome!!

my bmx coach learnt to drive in the road going version of that, at the time it was 1 of 2 in the country, he tried to get a quote for insurance and the one company that didnt laugh him off the phone wanted 20k
