focus st de-cat

focus st de-cat
my mate has an o6 plate focus st hes put a k&n panel filter in it and said he feels a slight difference, he was thinkin about putting a decat onit but has been told that the engine management flashes up.is this the case and if so is there anyway around this?

i have a de-cat on mine yes the management light pops on every so often. if he has a dreamscience tuning handset he can reset the light there or do what i did and buy a scangauge2 witch can reset it with ease and on the move they are not to expensive i got mine second hand for 80 quid
