The guys that drive in a 20-30mph limit with speed bumps with their pants on fire...why?

Sorry for the rant but around my local area there are a lot of roads with bumps. 80% of the time I turn out my road I turn onto one with half bumps that have been severely damaged by the cold weather and thus are even worse to drive over. My car is lowered on GAZ shocks and springs, rides on 17s and is polybushed front and rear completely. It isn't the nicest thing to drive over speed bumps. Usually I drive over the bump completely but in some cases I have to go over half of one and half of the other which means I have to slow right down almost to a stop and then slowly over them.

I constantly get people behind me (particularly van drivers...) sitting on my rear end in a 20mph limit with speed bumps because I'm taking it easy over the bumps. Not that they can go anywhere anyway but they still insist on sitting on my rear end, huffing and puffing, making hand gestures and some even over take me on the wrong side and round islands and then proceed to go over bumps at 30-35mph. The road in question also has 3 schools: 2 primary, 1 secondary.

Why...? Where are you going to go exactly? Why do people insist on tailgating me so closely that they may as well be in the car with me? One of these days I fear I'm going to seriously lose it with someone tailgating me over fucking speed bumps. I just don't understand it

 

i had same with a van i have tinted windows and not speeding going over speed bumps near a school where my kids go he started to flash and pip i slammed on got out and tried to drag him out the van think he was supprised to see a 6ft5 well built bloke get out shit his self locked doors think he might think twice before trying that road rage shit again

Same issue im having, i have to use a 20mph road on my way to work and it has speed bumps, its a given that you will always get caught in trafffic at either ends during rush hour but these fucking imbred mums on their way home from the school run and office people STILL feel the need to sit on your arse as im going over the bumps at a civilised speed.

I've even stopped road rage coz it will never ever stop, i used to stop the car, get out and tell the drivers to grow up or we'll have to go back to school days and have a fight over it. Im 24 and i would be well embarrased if i was middle aged and sitting on the rear ends of young kids in their cars...

make them run up the back of you then you can have a nice payout for whiplash of their insurance and it may make them think twice about doing it again
i also have a sticker in my back window that says i brake for tailgaters i find this helps lol

 

I'd rather keep my rear end in one piece but I might make up a sticker that says if you tailgate I am prone to stopping the car, stepping out and smashing your teeth in with no apparent warning.

Yes they will loose on the insurance claim but thats still your fault in thier eyes and also they were "picked on" by the system etc

I think anyone with a car that has tinkered with suspension will know exactly how much of a ball ache speed bumps are and wanker drivers inches from their rear bumper.

 

i get flashed all the time its a joke, for starters my car is 60mm lower cant you not notice that and secondly 90% of the time ive got my baby in the car with a (BABY ON BOARD SIGN), normally i be even awkward and take the whole road up lol

 

they are all small penis owners...

 

Because they do not give a shit about their car and they have no idea and no respect for other peoples cars.

If i ever come to speed bumps then i just think fuck whos behind me, ill drive over the humps at what speed I LIKE, it may only take an extra 10 seconds of their life just slowing down that bit extra to wait for you to go over it

 

Your average driver finds it a struggle just putting the right fuel in the tank and has no idea of the damage caused by flying over the speed bumps. Let them get on with it I say. I just flip my mirror down to avoid getting wound up sometimes. Douch bags eh
