Just been looking through my history for me saph, it been fully stamped the last of which was the 54000 miles service which was done at 50806, next stamp is 60000 and its just over 58000.

Does it have to be ford or can any reputable garage stamp the book ?

what are fords servicing charges like, obviously i can do it myself but wouldnt mind keeping the history up to date

between 1998 and 2004 it did 1,030 miles

 

main stealer servicing can sometimes look cheap when they say £100 full service what they really mean is £100 for oil change and kick of the tyres!
i would take it to a reputable ford specialist or a ford rs dealer if you are bothered about the stamps

 

blimey mate that is so low mileage between that many years lol. Any garage can stamp them but if you have all ford stamps it is nice to keep them genuine ford ones. Probably not cheap for a full service from ford, i reckon you would be looking over £100 but then again you aint gonna get it stamped by them any other way... unless you have a mate who works there lol

 

will give ford and a few local garages a call tomorrow for some prices, car was garaged for 8 years hense the low miles

I took mine to known rs specialists after 48K... on 58 now as well but do most of it myself and keep receipts carefully. Very few Ford dealers have any experts left!
