hey here is my Mk1 fiesta .. had her for some time now need to get something done about it

ryt i must clear something up here .....i hate the body kit on it aha i got it cheep ... and no engine is in it the now i bought it to do up last summer ..it had a rs1800 engine in it, thn i seen a escort pickup shell so i got thaat :P but now cant afford to do because of loosing job im left with no money so putting the rs1800 back in the fiesta but with its r1 trottle bodies on it and a few things here and there i mean it a really good healthy shell and it pretty clean ,plus its my first cars so i aint complaining like

 

changed wheels and gave her a bath put all windows back in to (YY)



and got the throttle bodies fixed and done

 

im in need of some dials ..... are the mk2 looms the same ..as in if i got a mk2 xr2 clocks they would work ???

 

Nice to see some progress jamie wheels look good on it, wish I never sold them suit the fiesta really well, the engine be in soon then will it.

 

yeah thinking about hoiking it in tomorrow (YY) got a day off and well the engine came out of it so there should be stuff lying about for it :L lol so yeah its going good (YY) ahah thatnks man yeah i really like the mondi rims on the fiestas :P

 

forget the fiesta man get the pickup done!! lol

 

well i would but not having a job ..... its kinda hard to build a car :/ ...but i have all the parts for the mk1 so its getting built :L lol

 

I like the car but im not that keen on the body kit.Its your car though you do what you wanna do to it.

got the hole inside primerd today (YY) so going to nip down for some paint next week ... thinking like a baby blue :/ but not to sure at this point aha

 

how hard is it to fit these throttle bodies etc i mean piping up etc???

 

the running pipes them self ,are kinda trikky to get on but putting it all together is fine i mean iv never done it myself before but when i done these it was piss easy ...

theres more loads to do to the shell were the backs been cut off it needs filled .. i need sunroof, front window , cradle full respray .....so im saving cash and puting the mk1 on the road and yeah ahahah!

 

Might be able to you up a sunroof and front windows jamie leave it we me mate will get back to you in a couple o days mate got a rotten shell that he is stripping for scrap.

 

PLUSSS its a 1.1 so cheep on the old insurance

ryt after some mods ... got the throttle bodies working , got a mk5 escort throttle cable and with a little bit of cutting of the end of the plastic it fits onto the r1 throttle bodies no prob at all billy bonus just need to get a little bar and weld it in to link the 2 sides together ....had to split them as you can see from other pics because to fit the st170 manifold

 

your gettin their jamie, will it be ready for summer

 

just need rear dampers, ecu , front light, and the wiers earthed oh and some tyers but yeah shes getting there like

hmmm will i be up and running by summer :L O_O hope so .....ecu dunno what to go for , v4 is like Ł400 but i really cant afford that like so hmmm do i try and get a stander managmet with chip :/ AHHHHHHH
