Default Next Q - inlet manifold damper

Seen a lot of these removed - the ones that go from the bottom elbow to the top of the engine mount. Ford don't do the cone washers any more so is that the reason?

Reftting mine - I think - any thoughts from you guys please?

More to do with NVH, as the original set up didn't have this in development only after the NVH was done at southampton uni.
I use mine as it's there, but I wouldn't worry about the dished washer thing, just use a thin bit of rubber either side of the through bolt to minimise vibration.
I can't see there being enough mass in the inlet weight etc to need a support as such.

Thanks Tab - didn't know the Southampton connection either.

I bought some grommets that will do the trick
