was the turbo'd engines used in the fiestas the same as the escort ones?

Yeah it's the same

Still a CVH turbo

Just EFI on OFAC and OFAB management IIRC

so the basic block is exactly the same? im going to buy a bottom end from a fiesta to replace my warped escort one!! just wanted to check before i buy!

pretty much the same, oil return is slightly different, but still useable IIRC.
cps for coil pack, but you don't have to use this.
the rest is the same AFAIK.
