This is the car on the first day i got it came with lots of history and paperwork First thing to go had to be the wheels!Managed to get a set on ebay for a good price Had to paint them white thought think it looks goodThen it was time to get rid off some rust on tailgate Didnt think turned out too bad for using twat cans will do for now as i want a new tailgate.Then gave the exhaust a polish started like this after polish Engine bay That was the way it was for three months loved every minute of driving it.Always wanted to own one. Then i came out in the morning to go pick my brother up to head down to usc for the weekend i turned the key it fired up let her warm up for a couple of minutes while i packed the car.jumped in went to set off no power at all Not again!i thought as the past three years ive booked work off to go santa pod something happens either my car wasnt ready or wife kept having bracston hicksSo drove straight to my friend steves garage to let him have a look and he has alot of gadgets so could diagnose the problem.after a bit off stripping found oil in had gone through every hose turbo had let go and bottom end was so guess im missing usc again!Then it was time to decide what to do buy 1.6 bottom end or zetec bottom end i want reliability so decided it was going zvh.might as well go all in and strip engine bay Thats it for now will put some more pics up soon

engine bay nearly stripped for respray then it was time to take her to get engine bay painted spoiler and bonnet vents as needed re doingAt the paint shop they are going to finish stripping parts ready for paintAnd the end result is A few parts starting to go back on cleaned and paintedwiper motor painted satin blackroll bar paintedthen it was time to sort out inner archsafter sanding clean then hit with white stone chipnow time to tackle wheel wellafter sanding and cleaning painted with white hammeritecleaned and painted gearboxsome suspension parts preped and painted new wheel bearings and cv jointspod i made amazing what you can do with a bit of fibre glass and fillerthen this arrivedthen i had a idea let me know what you think sat in placemy 2ltr bottom end back from being built 1.8 sump and pick up pipe 1.3cvh tensioner pistons machined new pump list goes on bottom end and sump painted black stg 3 big valve head donated from a friend fitted with new cam and cosworth vernier then post came efi managment inlet wiring in black braided hose polished fuel rail ported and polished throttle bodie blue injectors and a few other things that cant think off at the minute. thermostat housing isnt white anymore gone blackthen i roped my cousin in as he wanted to come to garage with me!Heat wrapping what a ball acheand the finisher result think it turned out alright.some more goodies today Engine fitted with efi manifold with charge pipe also painted black can you tell colour scheme yet?lol flywheel back on waiting for this clutch and gearbox back on There is loads more ive done but didnt get pics hope you lot like what ive done so far.As took alot off blood sweat and tears not much left to do just fundage at mo.but hopefully not long want too be cruising down the prom this summer!cheers for looking!

its getting there lots of work still to do im not after loads of power just want nice clean car with bit of power or reliability
