Default Kids? Life etc......

Here here lol

Serious question been thinking of this.

Now at what point do you say hey we want kids?? Or does it happen by accident mostly and you just get on with it??

Now for one I hate kids!

Its known from people who know me I cant be arsed with any of them as they mostly sulk/scream or cause some sort of problem as far as I can see and I do anything to avoid them with family/freinds etc. Then they one day they morph into teenagers which is even worse!!

Seriously Im 29 on my birthday and engaged etc and can never see me wanting kids! does it change at all?? do I suddenly wake up and say hey lets do it!! I just dont see it but I know amanda would like kids one day? and I know its part of life to have kids usually!

cheers

Didn't want kids, wouldn't be without my 2 boys.

Both were accidents as they say, best accident u could ask for.

Other peoples kids are annoying, urs aren't. It's strange but all i can say is you love your missus regardless of her faults, trust me on this you will love your kids even more.

mate having kids dont mean you loose who you are at all mate ( though some may say i need to grow up a bit) but in all honesty i would say i never wanted kids,, till i never had a choice and then you DO change a bit of who you are,,, you start thinking of how things affect someone else rather than how you are affected

they also aint all little shits at all, my little girl is 6 almost 7. she LOVES cars, comes out with some silly things that make you laugh even when your pissed off and honestly its the only thing in life i manage to do right,,,,, and im not the best person in the world but father hood is a natural thing

i remember being scared to pick up peoples kids,, just felt awkward and not right and thought i was gonna drop it ,,, but my little one i picked when she was first born,,,, most natural thing ive ever done,,,, just felt correct as if she fitted into me if that makes sence

long story short,,,,, go for it mate you will NEVER regret it and they aint as expensive as people make out in reality !!

I never wanted kids (or I thought so), I didn't feel responsible enough etc. But we had a dog for a couple of years lol, and liked it. Then decided to try, Chloe was 1 year old end of Jan and it has been the best year of my life without a doubt.

It's magic when they are your own, I always sneak a look at her sleeping before I leave for work in the morning.

im 17 now and really couldnt imagine me without kids when im older

i know people who are like 40 and only just having their first kid though, i just couldnt imagine that being me

some people want to be parents and some dont, nothing unnatural about not wanting to be a father/mother though, it is a big responsability and something youll have for the rest of your life

We've just found out we're having another. One planned, two not planned. Love it, wouldn't swap it for the world. I look forward to when they go to my mum and dads, but after an hour or two I get bored

i didnt want kids, i met my missus who had a 1 yr old nipper, got used to the idea of kids and found it wasnt that bad, even though the kiddie wasnt mine.
Four years on came along my youngest, wasnt planned but i love her to bits.

My oldest step daughter is now 20 and my youngest is now 16, i wouldnt change them for the world, infact i want another kiddie now but my missus is adamant she wont have anymore...Bugger.

You simply do not realise the capacity you have to love someone until you have a child .
