2005 Focus Mileage and Radio Lights

Just parked My Focus 2005 and noticed that when I exit the car and lock the doors the light on the radio and mileage display remains on.

I'm Baffled, anyone help?

Its a modern ford thing I think. Turns off after a few mins

Thanks for the reply but I don't think that's the case because it never used to do that before.

My dads 05 focus does the same thing. It auto dims after 5 - 10 seconds.
