Default best tyre size for a 3dr?

i have a set of 18x8 et35 comp mo 6 spokes

i have 215/35/18 for the fronts
what size tyres should i fit on the rear? i don't want them to catch my arches but want them a little wider than the front and to fill the arches a bit.

the arches have'nt been cut or rolled but my body kit has been cut right back to sit flush with the arches.

what about 225/40/18?

i don't think 205 will fit on 8" wide rims. my 215 seem stretched.

My mate had the same dilemma with the same wheels, same offset; 215's were fine on the front, but just didnt look right on the back.
Fitted 235's, looked sooooo much better.

Front of the rear kit needs a slight shave, nothing major. You dont see it when the wheel is on tho.

Yeah mate, 35 profile.
As for rubbing, i mentioned on previous post..........
......... a small shave off the kit, nothing major.

Why not save a lot of money and hassle, and fit 17" MO's instead!! Suit a 3 door to tee.
18's are too big IMO, and the ride is terrible.
