Default Tinted headlights?

Now bare with me with this one....
i know it sounds full on max power, but, has anyone ever slightly tinted the headlights on a saff, especially a dark coloured one?
My mate has it on his astra van, and it looks mean, and with my plea to make my saff look harder than an angry pit bull, i think it might work?

astra in question................

Am i just being a retard?

Used to have tinted headlamp shields on my Mk2 RS2000.....but that was about 25 years ago

Never seen a Sapphire with them ( except for the Morettes with E30 style tinted lights )

It would just cheapen the car if you did that, but don't think its possible anyway is it, surely the lights wouldn't be very effective.. If you want to make your car look abit "hard" why not remove the grill mesh and add a 500 style spilter etc?

i dont think it would look right on a saff.
try photo shopping them. get a picture of your saff and darken the picture but only over the headlights.

Diy, if you heat acrylic up in a oven it becomes totally pliable, and if held to shape whilst cooled it retains that shape, so could cut some rough size heta up hold against the lgihts ti get curve correct then make brackets, or even cut tabs then bed these back using a paint stripper gun on low, allow to cool etc.
