what condition would leather seats need to be in to be called concours?
new and unused ?
used but clean and no damage
or inkeeping with the cars age.
or any other discription ?

well concours cars are usually low mileage minters or rebuilt from scratch cars with new parts.

so yes mint and yes inkeeping with the cars age.

unfortunately they mean the same thing as the car would be low mileage anyway i would have thought.

 

If someone told me they had concours seats, I would expect them to be literally 'as new'.

 

yeah, but even something low milage ie 20k.would mean the drivers seat has been sat in for 20k,so there would be some wear/softening of the leather.
if the seats where new,then they wouldnt be original.so would they still be classed as concours eligable?
as you can tell,i know nothing about all this bufftying lol
