Hi, Im looking for some info on mk2 escorts.....

First of all, Im assuming they run TCAs similar to a cossie, where the location is controlled by the anti roll bar?

Modifying this, you get camber adjustment with adjustable TCA's, supplied either rubber or polybushed?

Ive seen tension struts and compression struts, if one uses these, how does the arb interface?

Does anyone have any underbody shots of where they attach on the bodyshell?

I'm sure the Mk2 runs Macpherson struts which are located by TCA & AR. So you could fit uprated bushes & or adjustable arms.

If its the same as a MK3 Capri the AR is leading not trailing.

 

yeah as standard it appears to be tcas and a leading arb. Seems compression or tension struts are available and mount directly to the shell?

 

tcas and arb at the front. you can get compression struts that have brackets that weld to the 'chassis rails' on the shell behind. shouldn't be difficult to find pics.

 

Ive tried google images and anyone selling tcas and comp struts but its just library pics of the items, not them fitted.
