Default Foxes

I've just had a close encounter with a fox. Was outside having a smoke, quite often see a fox trotting down our road at night, saw it coming along the footpath, car coming up the road so he just trotted across our garden, hopped up on my neighbours wall, literally about 4ft from where I was standing, and just sat there. Car went past, he jumped down and continued on his way.
When I've seen it before its always just trotted past, doesn't seem bothered by people, disturbed it once in our back garden and it just walked off, didnt run. Mind you, could be a different fox, but whatever, not a sight you see often in a town, at least I dont think so.

I agree with you there. I was just bit amazed, normally when you see something like that, wild animal, they run like fook, but he just didnt seem to care.

Usually only see them when I'm walking the dog... he's nearly 13 stone and likes a chase so they don't hang around

Crazy how they jump though, I've seen them up & over 6ft walls/fences like cats...

We have a pet fox at work, one of the guys at work hand feeds it, and it just comes up to him (or anyone in a yellow hi-viz) like a cat or dog might when it's hungry.

Nice looking critter, and makes a change from the rats we normally see

We get a few round our way, it’s good to see them about but its rare to see them in the day. As said they are great creatures & true survivors.

Providing they're not being chased by a twat on a horse!! Can't stand any sort of blood sport, makes me

You're not the only one! After this thread I am sure there is something amiss here, so I am going to do some more research and investigating.

A few people I don't know sent me a message on facebook over that thread, it's been circulating the internet so I'm told. God knows how they contaced me personally but I had all the bad memories flooding back.

But yeah, after this thread I am going to do some research for sure, as I am not letting someone die over this. I think there may be something in the rain, which they drink, and because of the change in climate, it's not agreeing with them.

Benni.
