new project changed ar to a crystal blue saph

 

wow this didnt have go bad underneath looks so nice on top to....

 

its nearly mint on top but iv scratched it on the drivers door by accident be going for re spray when the underside is done when i get chance that is lol

it must be a twat working out in the garden like that mate ,why not make up a temporary cover with scaffold poles and a tarpaulin,clean looking shell

do all the doors still open freely? could just be stress on the chassis was too much as its now mountet off the bumper holes??

i now your all reading this an thinkin it dont make sence but i have got rif of the red saph an have this blue one i didnt want to start another thread so i just used this one an edited the thread here is the new one im working on hope ya like any questions please ask

 

right peeps i decided the majenta saph needed a bit to much work so i decided to use the crystal bluesaph cosworth i brough before the majenta one i have done most of the welding now to the blue one just a few small patches to do here are a few pics fingers crossed ill get the rest doen this week to start removeing all the sealant an stuff and prep and paint the underside an stone chip it

the chassis section on the drivers side had had i looked everywhere to find a new panel but couldnt so i fabed up one myself out of some galv steel from work






inner cills and cill an arch both sides needed doing




this is all the pics iv got so far will get some more soon for yas

and here is the passenger side with the under panel welded in an ready for the top one to be weldedin as you can see

 

right update time iv now finished all welding an iv stripped bk to bare metal an painted it in rustbuster paint here are some pics off before an after sorry bout pic quality











jus gotta finish the rest of the floor now

 

 

right iv done some more iv finally got all the underneath done in the rustbuster heres some pics of before and after

 

after this one coat of etch primer then 4 coats of 2k primer then stone chip and then paint sealer before paint though lol
