Bought suspension from member DHMC

here is the original advert, but the seller has deleted his posts!

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-n...k3-recond.html

Agreed to pay £100 posted.

Waited a whole month to recieve it after recieving endless excuses why i hadnt got it yet! and then had to pay £20 extra postage! When it did finally arrive the suspension kit was in the original yellow/red with loads of surface corrosion all over! the shocks and springs look fit for scrap! the advert clearly stated the kit was FULLY RECONDITIONED in white/sky blue. What a liar.

Very angry with the seller, item was completely misdescribed. Have fitted to car and it works fine so would like to keep the kit. Most kits in this rough condition go on ebay for roughly £60 so would be great to get some money back.

Any help much appreciated.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. I'll send him a pm asking for some input into this thread and we'll take it from there.

Had two kits for sale one reconned and one original seller pm'd me about the suspension he was under the impression that he was getting the reconned kit and I was under the impression it was the original as the reconned had been sold on here already.

Offered to fully acid dip and recon the suspension buyer rejected - paid nearly 60 quid to post seller paid 20 pounds towards the postage.

End of.

I wont be offering you any more money, you can have a refund back and send them back to me I'll recon them myself and resell them

If you had two kits for sale who did you sell the reconditioned one to? I was the only person to reply to the advert! There was no other advert for an unreconditioned kit. I have checked your previous posts.

If you had two for sale in completely different states why would you charge the same amount for each kit?

As already stated I paid £100 originally which included £30 postage which I assumed to be enough to post the kit from my experience. I then waited a month for it to arrive and had to pay £20 extra to cover the postage. In all I have now paid £50 for postage not £20!

You never offered to recondition the suspension until i recieved them and told you i was unhappy with it as you lied to me. You really expect me to pay even more postage fees for you to respray them and wait another month to recieve them again? Yea right.

The money is not the point here. My point is that you lied about the condition of the kit so you could sell it for more than it is worth.

WHY ELSE WOULD YOU OF DELETED YOUR ORIGINAL ADVERT?

It clearly states in the advert title:
"Spax full suspension 35mm for fiesta mk3 RECOND"

If you send me a refund I will remove the kit from my car and send them back to you in the hope that you dont ripoff someone else.

OK so DHMC has offered a full refund and FEZH513 has agreed to this.

Could you both take this to pm and sort out the details of the refund etc please.
Should you need anymore assistance, just ask.

I Cant send it back.

Needed the shocks for my MOT (which was supposed to be friday but the shocks didnt come till monday!) Its passed now but if i take them off i have no shocks! And god it handles superb. Even though i had to drive around for a month with worn out shocks as you took so long to send them.

I would like to keep them but I think I would settle for a partical refund for the postage as you blatently ripped me off on that. It couldnt of been more than £30. £35 tops!

The least you could do to make up for it would be to refund me the £20 extra i paid. You took so long to post them I had to drive around for a month with worn out shocks. You said they would arrive Friday 12th at 9am so i could fit them just before my MOT but they arrived monday at 1pm so i had to rebook the MOT and couldnt drive over the weekend! Its just not fair.
