Have you tried M.A.Developents for pricing a set of CP's?

i went to see ian last weekend and he said you was coming down and your after some more power . i run arias pistons in my engine and talking to ian he rates both highly and i know arias pistons are using in very high powered drag cars in america. cp pistons are also used in high powered cars and ian showed me a set of standard zetec turbo off the shelf pistons and a set he has custom made and to say theres a difference is a small statement , lighter , bigger pins , different sized skirts avaliable and balanced. ive never had any trouble with my pistons and these are still the orginals from around 2004. if your getting them from ian which i take it you are then the choice is yours really as both are made to ians spec.

cheers paul

Yeah I was up there a week or two ago. The Arias is an off the shelf item, designed for an SR20 motor I think, and the CP a custom order, hence the price difference.
Your running 500+ on Arias Pistons? Are they custom spec or the SR20 Nissan upgrade ones?
I know the Arias ones will be ok, I just like to over spec things for piece of mind, but on this occassion I'm not sure if I'm just wasting money.

Ians been invaluable planning this rebuild, cant give him enough praise.
