intermediates? That means a full race tire that is not a full wet or a full slick as far as I'm aware

oh, do you mean trackday tires?

and by sprint times do you mean sprinting like hillclimbing or do you mean drag racing like 1/4 miles?

like this one's from toyo

but i also rang the local lotus dealer as the exige has these kind of tyres standard on the car and those where specially made for lotus by yokohama and these are roadlegal so that would be an option but i want to compare some prices

and basicly it would be like quarter's and slaloms

Which TOYO you mean? Only new one i can think of thats owt to do with track is the NT555R which is a road legal drag tyre (The Nitto one thats been used for ages on drag cars in USA and Japan), but youd not wanna use that on the road much, and deffo not the track (track slicks are crap on the strip, and strip slicks are crap on the track), it might be road legal, but id stick to the 1/4mile only with that.

I have tried a few, currently using Yoko A048R's. Next up are the Dunlop D02, these are supposed to be the absolute bollox for TRACK use. I don't know by how much they would help if at all on a drag strip though...

and these type of tires do NOT like standing water, if you use your car everyday in this country forget it!

ok but basicly i would use them on a track/sprint event then just for the extra traction these develop but the yoko's you have are pleasing ?
