Hi folks got a problem and need some help but please bare with me as im shite with computer stuff,

Ok i have virgin media broadband and a wireless router thing supplied by them and have moved in with the mrs and had the account changed over to this address etc etc,

Now i cant get this net gear router to work wireless im talkin to you now with an ethernet (i think) coming out of the router into the laptop so obviously im connected to the internet,

Thing is at my old house i got it all to work made a user name and passwords and saved them bla bla bla, Now at this address with same username and passwords i cant get into the router so i decided to reset the router and now im even worse off than before as i dont know the passwords to get into it now its been reset

So basically this is where im at now and ive come to the conclusion that i cant solve this myself without throwing the lot throught the fuckin window so kinda figure i need to find someone who can make it work or request some assistance from you guys so thought i'd try the latter first,

Obviously as you can imagine any help would be very much appreciated and if you need anymore info from me no problem but you may need to tell me where to look for it cos as i said earlier im absolutely uiseless with computer stuff

exact same thing happened to me mate but i rang up straight away they get you to reset it anyways mate then they give you the password ect then at the end of it all you make your own names ect takes about ten mins on fone but worth it they did sort it goodluck bud hopes this helps

 

Ahh so its not just me then lol thanks for that mate i'll have to call them on monday as think there closed tomorrow

 

thought Virgin was 24/7 now?

i thought it was but edited my post.....cos ive had a few beers and couldnt be sure.

 

My Virgin router came with its web page logon details printed on a sticker underneath it, and I used that to setup the wireless access etc
