u could put xr4x4/rs turbo brakes on it. but .. why on the hell would you want to do that. 14s on a saph would look awful.

first it was a 4x4 cosworth now its a mk4 escort with 4x4 running gear make your mind up lol! 4x4 cos brakes fit under rs turbo wheels so you shouldnt have a problem fitting the 15 inch dogleg rs wheels but 14 inch 7 spokes wont fit

Ok lets see, You want to put rst rims on a Mk 4 escort? Yes that 'll work ,though it depends on what brakes you have, any bigger than standard sized brakes and they wont fit.
Either fit standard sized brakes to fit behind your 15's or get rims to suit the brake size! 16"+

Once had a similar prob, going to crail one year, I had to put 2 s1 rims on the back of a 4x4 saff and swap the 17's to the front due to 2 punctures on the front 17's, I didnt have another 17" rim and the s1 rims not clearing the front brakes.

Looked VERY shocking, drove Very badly, but still the car got one hell of a hammering that day .

I have fitted cosworth 4x4 calipers and 2wd discs to escort rs turbo's and standard wheels do fit over just about. I'm guessing you're having problems due to the fact you now have sierra hubs and brake setup. Might be worth sending a pm to wenny as he used to run 15" steel wheels on his mk3 escort with 4x4 cosworth running gear

Quality

Failing that just remove them, rear drums/discs do most of the braking anyhow
