Default my saph

going back about a year now but what the hell gona try and put a little thread about my car as im starting it back up again in doing more stuff so starting from when i got my sierra i paid 400quid for it it was a sierra sapphire azura 1.6 (pinto)

then went all the way to wales to get the bodykit ie bumper, sideskirts .headlights and grille

then i was very bored of my engine but being only 19 at the time insuring a cosworth was out the picture so went for this

had to change the loom and all that bollox but kept the t9 gear box for something different
then since it was all off fort might aswell clean the underside a little so heres a pic of the tunnel

and engine bay

then wheels and door stripes off
lattace wheels

escort cosworth wheels

then steering wheel off a mate only 20 quid and its mint with some dials from ford fair 2009

and now i have found a 4x4 bonnet on ebay for 100 notes so went and got that

now iv got it looking like a cosworth need it sitting like one so to day got some paint from the garage and got some 30mm lowering springs and some koni shocks but painted the shocks orange heres a few pics

looks good mate, mine was a gl when i got it,has the same engine as yours now & i had to change everthing
the bonnet & bumpers are a good paint match,
mine could do with respray as it faded from being sat for years,i find myself forever getiing the polish out & cause it hard to get the shine back i can never be botherd to do it all.so it always fades again

ive got the goodyear f1s on myn and ther brilliant.
and i can recomend the 24v no end. YBs have been an gone around me and my old 24v p100 still goes strong.
cant get over it. gets warmed up an ragged most days and its had an oil change every 6k and theres not even as much as a slight haze when it fired up cold. still like new.
my friend has one with 270,000 miles on it and he still plants it at 150mph down the 'private road' happily without a problem.
just had camchain and oil pump etc every 80K
