just a guess as i no next to nothing about these but could it be the ignition coil?.... pretty sure thats what im thinking of

Hi no not the ignition coil as thats all connected, if only the label i had on it didnt come off

Not seen one like that, not std as far as I can recall, is it a wire as it looks very thick gauge for that sort of connector, look in the end, maybe it is a vac connection, soon see if there's a terminal in there, if not follow other end see where it goes, maybe for something that is no longer on the car ?

As said it looks like a vaccum hose with an electrical like connector only electrical connector on, not one I know of as standard if electrical, dizzy should be phase sensor and the ignition leads on the cap!

I've never seen a cap that would take a fitting like that, best way is to follow it to see where it hides!!
