Default Malfunction indicator light not working.

The MIL in my 3 door is currently not working. It doesn't light at all, not even when I first start the car. I am unable to pull codes as well. I switched the bulb to no avail. It should be noted that the ECU has been converted to a Level 8 with a Stage 3 MSD chip. Is this normal? If not, what should I look at to correct the problem.

Thanks in advance for the responses.

Try it with a Level 1 (but do not start the car), just to check the connections.

I reconnected the Level 1 computer that I replaced to check and I still wasn't able to get the light to work. When I connect the fault code reader I get nothing..... Where should I start to try and track this thing down. It should be noted that the car is running fine. It's just really annoying that the light is no longer working.
