if its a mk 2 its pretty straight forward but if its a mk1 its a lil more involved but still not too hard, as im sure yours is a mk2 being a 85 (b,c) iirc u just need to swap everythin from an rs over using mk2 cvh mounts

you want to fit an rst engine into a mk2 fiesta pal?
yes lots of people have done this, but you would need the mounts to fit the mentioned engine and box, alot easier to fit efi engines than the mfi due to space with the metering unit

You'll need:

1. 1.6 CVH engine mount (standard Fiesta MK2 XR2)
2. 1.6 gearbox cradle (sits lower than on non-XR2 engines)
3. both front tie bars with brackets
4. Fiesta alternator and alternator bracket (underhung type)
5. injection tank (was available for 1.4i) or a swirl pot
6. much time and many minor parts.

And as mentioned above you can find some conversions on www.xrtwo.com
