Well a mate of mine picked up a evo 8 fq300 on saturday in white with carbon MR bits on her,MR cams/turbo etc power is at around the 380 mark!feck me does it go!

looks hard as,drives superb no knocks rattles etc,must say thinking of getting rid of the cossie and going jap,need a fresh start with things!i feel EVO is the way forward!

 

well i want ya 3dr...

well at least i know i could sell the 3 door quick if ones i like comes up then lol!i would want what i paid for her,not going to let her go for any less!

Don't do it Douglas... unless you need to use the car everyday, in which case a c400bhp Evo is going to make more sense than a 500+bhp 3dr Cosworth IMO.

If its a toy, get a bit of use out of the 3dr this year and then punt it on towards the end of the summer and get some Jap 4WD in your life in time for the wanky weather arriving.

I know it's defo a lovely Evo...i can't believe how much i liked it once i saw it but man you can't get rid of your beast... even more so cos you haven't even used it

your trying to compare looks of an evo to a 3 door thats certainly not the reason to swap the 2. Evos are not pretty even compared to old sierras!!!

as a everyday car i dont think a evo can be beaten,but for a blast on a sunny day the cossie wins handsdown,the only other thing you need is aa or rac cover

 

I had 3 of them before the evo mate & wish i had bought a mr instead of the other 2 big time. Agreed there is nothing nicer for me when you see a escort cossie driving past i will always love them.
