on this site actually have a clean licence still??

just been reading the speeding and banned thread and can't believe the amount of banned/points on licence's there are!!

I've now been driving for 7 years, doing a lot of mileage not only in my own car but as a taxi driver too and still have a squeeky clean licence!

So who else can say they have a point free/ban free licence?

 

ive got points for speeding but ive had them for about 3 yrs now, im not sure how long they show up on the license for

 

come this may i be back to a clean licence again

 

Im the same 3 points for speeding but they only been there a year , did have 9 tho but there all off thank god before i got the other 3

 

I drive a escort van so i havin got the power to speed.I wonder can you get done for driving to slow and making a big hole in the ozone with the black smoke flying out the back

 

Yes, got my licence in 1989 and never had a single point, even though the Ford dealer who sold me my Fiesta ST told me I soon would have points driving one... well I never did, and I've had two!

 

so ... so far there is only me and sarah who have kept clean licences!! lol

Me too (touch wood) had my Licence 11 years and the cossie for 6 of those no points for me

ive always been lucky, i drive the cos like a nutter but theres a time and a place. through a town centre, busy duel carrige way, past a speed camera. not the right places and ur gunna get stopped caught

empty b road leading to no where. well have a abit of that :P

 

Don't quite know how i have, bar 3 points when i was 18 (which are long gone) i have no points yeah!!
Had some very generous coppers let me off in the past, and a lot of luck that there haven't been cameras where i've chosen to 'try the car out' lol....also i've got a van which i use everyday for work and my car's not on the road for very long each year

 

I dont know how i've still got a clean licence...i really dont!!

i got 3 points in the first 2 months of driving, in the slowest car ive owned. lol
since then (10 yrs nearly ) totally clean, no bans.... nothing

 

Still got a clean license, although nearly got caught doing 35 in a 30 last night by traffic pigs with a gun but managed to slow down in time lol.

Clean lisence for me. Certainly not for the want of trying though (now not so much touching wood as gripping it very tightly indeed)

Nearly lost my licence a few years ago due to totting up but fobbed 3 points onto my wife....i've got a nice clean one now however she's still got 3 lmfao

 

You could eat you dinner off my licence it's that clean.

Me too, been driving 10yrs, had all sorts of fast cars, 5 GTT, Punto GT, Pulsar GTiR, Megane 225, Fast fords etc etc, only been stopped a couple of times for minor offences. But I have done some silly speeds/things on the road (not proud) and yet still have a squeaky clean licence

 

mines clean, its actually 15 years today i passed, 6th march 1995

 

i passed my test in 1990

i have to recieve any points for a variety of things i've not done

 

did have long time ago and will have again in another 6 years

 

Touch wood, in the 13+ years I've been driving I've never had an accident or point or anything! I HATE tempting fate!!

I did once reverse into a lampost in a Sherpa van at work at about 1mph and broke the lens, but that don't count! Plus I'm currently appealing against a 2 year suspended dismissal for driving with a bald tyre!!!!!!!!!

14 years of driving - never had any points. In fact I've only ever had 1 parking ticket. Driving angel me!

 

Mines clean, always has been never had any points whatsoever and i drive moon miles with my work and can do 20k a year in my car easily

Police commented a few years back when i was nabbed for not wearing a seatbelt......again that my licence was clean and was still a shonky paper licence (held together with loads of selotape as he knew i had a cossie aswell as my shitty astra runabout lol

Mind you had the the police had there equipment active a few years back on the M8 i would have been banned instantly, they caught up and waved there finger at me giving me a bollocking

T, its not so much about being a good girl...its more about being observant and not being caught lol thats my way anyhow!!

 

i have a clean one. N I was bus driving aswell doing 45 hours a week driving. I passed jan 2007 so not doing too bad.
