Just started a conversation with the work friends the other day about the Focus RS as i'm a pretty big fan, then one of them said Imprezas are better, Which is typical non enthusiast attitude i suppose, yet this time I've looked into it and both cars cost the same, are level on power but your obviously gonna lose some in the impreza's 4wd but would make up on that with the traction they get on off the line and on track won't they? curb weight must be similiar too. So does the Focus have anything on it?

On looks the RS stock is obviously the winner but nobody can deny how good kenny blocks massively modified car looks.

Then theres economy and running costs etc which i think the RS would probably take but thats boring stuff...

Opinions wanted...

 

I love Imprezas, I'm on my 6th one just now.

BUT...

The New FRS is WAY better place to put your money if spending 28-30k on a punchy hot hatch. Handling will be better in everything apart from wet/greasy conditions, once rolling, I'm pretty sure it'd show a clean pair of heels to the Impreza and depreciation will be far less than the Subaru too.
