i just bought a clutch off ebay second hand, and was told there was plenty of life left in it.

iv just had it and theres about 1mm left on it so i was wondering if i can get new pads put on it. if so were 2 and how much? its a 4 paddle clutch made by miba and its for a erst s2

if i was you i wud be ringing the seller to find out wtf is going on.

 

you could brought a new clutch from techni clutch for £295

 

where would he have brung it to?

 

search google for brake and clutch re-lining firms, i found someone on there a few years back who offered this service.

 

i will be mailing him but it always comes 2 fuck all!!!!!. the amount of times iv been ripped off on ebay its unreal and it's alway wankers selling erst parts

paddle clutches arent something i would advise buying or selling second hand, money issues understood.

 

i know its a nightmare

 

cant remember mate but it was pennies compared to a new clutch plate.

my brouther had his done aboute 6 mounths ago cost aboute £100 had it done througe 1 of the local motorfactors that deals with reconed clutches

 

Just put a claim in with paypal saying the item is not as described and they will give you your cash back.

 

place on ebay that does it, as to quality or if their any good i cant comment cos never used them so, they charge £55 for a 5 paddle clutch plus post £5.50

use cerametalic plates aparently..... that any good?! lol
