the battery in my transit is fooked and i got a price today of about £70 for a 100 amp off the local ford garage ,i was wondering do people rate motorcraft batteries?

all info appreciated

cheers mate ,their seems to be a lot of bad batteries being stocked by motorfactors at the minute ,so thats good to hear

Bosch are the best but motorcraft last years, my connect has got the original motorcraft battery on and its 7 year old.

For that money you are talking VARTA BLUE, no contest varta has it with 5 year warranty as std.
Motorcraft are made by Johnson Controls, not a bad battery by any means, but not as good as Varta.
Oldest living surviving battery is/was I'm sure 18 years old on a VW camper, highest mileage is 562,000 miles on original engine/tail pipe/ drivetrain a jetta td.

I'd give Banner Batteries a call if I was you mate, they cater for most vehicle types and some of if not all of their range has lifetime warranties I believe.

Std is 2 years, for these austrian made batteries, had a Banner Starting Bull, years ago did the job, but 12 months out of warranty dead, but was better than the lucas I had before that!!
