Default Nurburgring 24hr

Hi Guys

This year we are having a change of scenery and are binning Le Man 24hr for Nurburgring 24hr. I have booked the euro tunnel for our convoy but just wanted some camping advice from people who have been.

Mainly where is best to camp?
Do you park where you camp?
Can you pre purchase the camping tickets and if so where from?

thanks inadvance

Tim

i've been to the 24h before but sadly (for you ) i had corporate hospitality and stayed in a hotel so can't help with the camping, but i can confirm that it's a good atmosphere although i've not been to le mans to compare it.

from what Ive read alot of places open up just for the 24hr and you tend to pitch up next to the ring, loads of like shanty towns appear from no-where all around the track and all night parties ensue fancy it myself, bet the race is awesome

the 'race' is not that good, and i say it like that as there are several classes so watching trackside you don't really know who is racing whom, and because it's so long and the track is so long, there is not really any close racing going on. it's all about the event and the atmosphere of the crowd - the all night party all around the track
