Default Sapphire Cosworth Mini Restoration and upgrades

Hi

Bought this sapphire off here which is in really good nick and just want to add some stuff and make it better. been raining and havent had much time on it but done a few things. Hope you like









Managed to get one rl7 on and rear strut brace and strated to put some of the polished alloy bits on, Got a spec r breather to go on bailey damper Bought and fitted missing jacking point covers swirl pot. Just ordered some black samco and a rouse front splitter. Will need a new cam cover but not sure what colour to go yet.

That looks lovely mate!!! I do like a really clean whiteSaph!! I'm looking forward to seeing it at The Pod. Oh and by the way i have the tree large samcos in black,new in the box here if you dont fancy waiting ?

Yes Dave will do got lots planned over the weekend to get on. Bought all new bailey breather and turbo damper. Having the header tank swirl and strut brace done in black as well as the rocker cover. Fitted some blinging bits engine lifters and a few bits. Might get the cosworth belt cover sone black too. Get the arches done arch liners fitted and rouse front spoiler. Might go leather too not sure yet as the cloth so good. Oh yes black samco kit but not picking up till central day!

Bit more done today boot tidy and rear strut brace and ice fiited. Turbo damper and ford racing boost gauge fitted a lowered a tad more. might have to go a few more mm

Thanks just need to get bailey breather fiited swirl pot black samcos and header tank next then sort that actuater out and get the blue paint off and have a rocker refurbed and put on the steam clean under bonnett than were about there under the hood. Dont know weather to go standard air box with re circ dump valve yet. Also dont know weather to put the smoked rears on yet. Decisions Decisions!!! Will update so more soon. Got out in it today in the dry for the first time after the water leak was sorted from the water pump.

Had to sort out some water leaks boot full of water and a hose split that goes onto the water pump. It keeps blowing the ciggy lighter fuse i think this has a tee off to the fan switch so dont know if its drawing too much or something. Other than that its sweet. Got a ford petrol cap with key if i cant work out what you said will give you a shout mate

just a change as had 4 3doors in a row the last one 3 years and saphs handle better plus doing an extension and rather than borrow thought i would release some cash. PLus wanted a new project as finished the other one. Just a change all round really.

ah i see,im kind of the same,love my 3-door but it was always the saphs i liked in the first place

il maybe do this aswell at some point cause no way i could run 2 of them

Got a little done today all new black samcos fitted and matt black header and swirl. All new alarm fitted and old stripped out. Gone back to air box and re circ. Got all thhese other bits to fit next weekend as well as a bailey breather. Will be done soon enough. Going back to leather as it has all the dark plastics and blackk dash.

Little update for you today washed and polished ready for pod and cleaned all carpets and fitted leather today. Will hope to get breathernew rocker and carbon cambelt cover and strut brace fitted for pod as well.
