ella the beige fiesta :) fitted the door cards and seats (9/5/2010)
hello all i built a zetec turbo fiesta that never got finished as seen hear https://passionford.com/forum/restor...now-wooop.html
and ive now decided to build another one
this one was spotted but my now x girlfriend on the way to work parked up with a for sale sign in the window. i see it and had to have it lol.
after a few weeks i converted it to manual lowered it and fitted a set of xr2 pots
it ended up looking like this



i then fitted an xr2 engine and drove it around like that for a few mounths
i then sold it to buy this

so as you can tell i dont stick with one car for long lol i change my mined more than the weather
about a year ago now a mate of mine called me saying he had just picked up a mk2 fiesta with an xr2 engine............................
i new it was going to be mine for some reason lol and yep it was lucky for me he sold it back to me i ended up paying more than i sold it for


it sat around for a wile till i then sold it to my apprentiss who got bored with it and sold it back to me... but this one im ditermined to get finished!!!!
so this is how it sits now

its been 3 years since the first pics and its looking a bit sorry for its self

but we can soon change that

so hear is what i have been up to today

got some bigger arches
you will see why i need them soon 
so i drew 2 lines one a bit more in than the other

hear is why she is called ella


aaaaaaaaaaand i cut the arch off

mint inner wing

and the reason for the arches



will look better when all painted up took her up in the air

very solid underneath just needs a bit to the NSR seal but that will get choped out for the arch any ways

and thats it for now im going down the pub

i will have mine done you can mot it lol and im gonna make sure you dont sell it im gonna make you watch me build mine so your have to build your lol. and may start a thread tomorrow if the weather good

well ive done a bit more to the fezzzz as seen hear lol ive decided to scrap the idear of the cvh and start building zetec turbo 

soooooo started lapping all the valves in after cleaning the head and having it skimmed

exaust valves re cut and a set of new valve stem oil sills fitted (Ł40 from ford
)

area6 valve springs

the head after i washed it off (one of around 4 washes when i build my heads)

exaust valves in

then i fitted a cvh thermastat housing so i can use the standard cooling fan wiring/hoses ect ect

then i threw a 1.8 zetec in to start mocking up bits and bobs exaust,inlet rad ect ect

i was surprised at how much room there was between the turbo and the rad
im useing an erst manifold with an exaust adapter plate as well

well thats it for now hope you like
