Just got another loom for my van and got it out of the box today to start putting it back in and i have noticed that it has no where to put the pink fuel pump relay and also hardly any engine bay sensor connectors? I have spoke to the bloke i got it off and now he is saying that he was running cossie managment on it. I take it that when you run cossie managment all these things are cut off and chucked away leaving the rest of the loom to be no good?

 

I'm no expert on cossie management but I imagine you would do the same as fitting an FRST EFi loom to an ERST loom. That is take the engine loom from a cossie and the full loom from an escort, strip the escort loom of all engine wires, then plug the two together in the middle for power etc. What loom do you think you've got and what engine are you plugging it up to?

Sounds like you have a stripped out escort loom if there are hardly any engine plugs.

I was told it was a erst complete loom and i was goin to chop the rear section off as im putting it in a van. Its all s2 but the loom i have bought has no fuel pump relay and only a couple of sensors for in the engine bay.

 

An ERST loom has quite a few sensor plugs in the engine bay. Do you have any pics?

What colour relay plugs do you have below the fuse box on the inside of the car?
