As above I have a sunroof from a mk3 Escort. IT HAS NO RUST UNDER THE GLASS (rare as fook). I can see no other rust on it anywhere. It works perfectly and is smooth with no nasty jarring or sticking. I am only removing it as I'm fitting a cage and it fouls the roof. I know these things fetch a small fortune. I have heard the rumours of these things going for a grand on fleebay. I am not greedy but not stupid either, £150 takes it! When I say takes it thats what I mean. IWILL NOT POST THIS ITEM!!!!

Have you seperated the glass section from the runner as this is where rot hides and most of the time you cant see it. Afterwards flip it over, glass down, and then take some pictures, especially the locating tabs which fit into the runner section and the front 2 corners as this is where they rust and rot the most.

If its completely rust free and the glass has no scratches and the seal is perfect its worth £150 all day long.
