Lowering Escort Van Mk 6
Hi
Need some advice on lowering my mk6 escort van.
Can i just swap the front suspension struts for mk5 rs2000 struts and then maybe coilovers? Or would i have to buy lowering springs and have them fitted?
Also how would i go about lowering the rear leaf springs? Ive heard of people just flipping the leafs over so that they rin under the rear axel, but is it as simple as it sounds?
Any advice is much appreicieated.
Cheers

Speed shack can supply you a kit to relocate the rear axle and as far as i am aware the front struts are the same as the mk6 escort car so cant see any problem with swapping the fronts for either coilovers or rs struts and lowering springs. Rear axle will need some welding to be done. I dont the conversion to my own mk4 van and being on my own took me a day to do the front and the back.

mondeo 16" will be fine n wont scrub as they arent wide enough to hit the inner arch and as long as you fit tyres that have a low enough profile wont scrub on the wings either
