I am currently considering buying an RS Turbo. Would appreciate any history that users could give me. Registration mark is H568 ELT.

Car looks great but as you will know, looks can be decieving.

Usual places are HPI checks on the car
Check any history that the car comes with and i found by typing in the registration into google may bring something up

Check the car over throughly, expecially places like under fuse box and battery tray, sills, rear wheel arches, under the boot floor, all places that rust

Also you can tell if its a sweet engine by the second you turn the key she should start, ragged engines take a little while to turn over
Well this is from my experience anyway, hope this helps

Get the car up to temp and pull off the oil cap (providing its mfi). The engine should stall. If it doesn't stall it may be rings or fueling is out. While its off check for signs of mayo in the cap. for 3 quid you can do a basic check on your car and it will tell you the police, insurance and history of the car. send a text message off your phone to 88600. text CHECK H568 ELT

Did the text check and all came back clean. Might just need to go down south to have a look at it.
