Well I sold my car on Saturday, went straight down to Maidstone after and test drove and looked around an MPS again, loved it so put a deposit down. Then spent until today itching to get the car as the bloke needed to sort out his new car first!

I absolutely love it, it sounds so good, it goes so well, it's comfy, it's got loads of features, seems well built, handles pretty good, I just love everything about it! Picked it up at midday today and I'm still grinning ear to ear!

Gave it a wash when I got home as it was filthy, no polish as it's too cold the polish wasn't reacting very well!

Yeah had an S2000 pull up at the lights and ask me what was in it, I said race me and find out but he didn't fancy it

Not atm, plenty of car to handle for me atm, 2 and a half times the power and a very different car to drive! 2nd gear is something else! In the future I suppose the obvious, wheels, not sure on suspension as I quite like how it sits, remap, maybe exhaust although the standard one sounds so so good. I'll get videos eventually.
2.3 DISI Turbo, 256bhp, 280ftlb torque, LSD as standard. And the sound is amazing!

I'm not sure. I have been told it's like a MK1 FRS underneath. Which I'd be interested to know as the standard brakes are 320mm and I have a set of 4 pot Brembos with 324mm discs sitting in my garage...

Bought a special edition type thing as a run about at the end of 08', it's not an MPS but i've often considered buying an MPS, good value for money.

 

Nice cars these my girlfriend has one had it a year next month they do handle well and go well to the only downside is the tax (Ł444 a year) just got the reminder through the other day i nearly died.

 

Rog that looks lovely does make me realise how much the eibach springs on the Aero Kit makes though! White is nice don't see many of them about

ALOT quicker than a Zetec S Fiesta

I thought it handles ok to be honest not like the Fiesta but that was on coilovers but it's really not bad and the diff makes a massive difference

I got it for Ł11,100. 07 plate with 18k miles is about right. Probably could have found one cheaper but this one was mint condition and clearly kept in that condition.

Obvious things are FMIC, Remap, exhaust, but other than that I'm not too sure. I won't be going mad on it anyway. FMIC is Ł800 + VAT

I like the seats, maybe the ones you had were slightly different? I found them really uncomfy to start with but then found another way of adjusting (lumbar or something) as it was digging in my back but it's really comfy now. Plus I used to have a gangster lean going on in my Fiesta cause it was comfy that way but these are upright which is better as when going some you need to be ready to fight the steering wheel haha

the 3 uses the Cmax floorpan, as then after did the focus and one of the volvo's.

 

Been looking at these and the mazda 6 MPS alot recently, seem to be alot of car for not alot of money!

I have found ours very nice to drive, yet to pick any faults to be honest. but it is the economical (LOL) 2.0 sport. the mps is supposed to be a right hoot to drive. The 6 mps is AWD too.

we were looking for an mps but they aren't type approved for towing so it was ruled out.
