Can I please peoples underside of their RSturbos, fromt the concourse to the normal clean ones, to get ideas.

Whats the process for cleaning/painting the underside like this?

Here's mine been 11 years since I removed all the underseal and painted it needs a tidy up now, maybe this year.

 

Cheers everyone, loving the pics, giving me lots of ideas, still dont know it I should leave it painted for looks or cover it in Stonechip to protect it.

 

love the pics fellas! mine is black with underseal (uncle used to do it every year) he also used to unleash a whole can of wd in the engine bay every 3 months taken me hours to mint underside will be next.

 

Twins and boost monster... what pump hanger are you using?

Mine is the original powder coated,if yours is rotted out alan at auto specialists has remanufactured them and they look fantastic ,and they come in black

 

Mine was cleaned up, welding done, then re stonechipped and then painted

 

fuel pump hanger was from Ford

 

had mine all sand blasted,welded then a good few litres of 3m sealer then primer and paint,depends what look your after mate,dont get me wrong love the ones with no sealer just paint they look the nuts but i just couldnt drive it without worrying.

at a quick glance it just didn't look standard s2..... but maybe that because its not brown and flaky!

I will either source a good one, get one from auto specialist or get one of these
