well as meany you no i building a 4x4 focus that ag motorsport did the convertion on ,this one was for a friend but thinks have changed,i wanted to have a go at doing one me self

its a focus rs shell that will be geting damage sorted this week all being well been waiting since xmas so hopefully by the weekend it will be geting cut up as i need it done asap

i bought a tunnel off jacko but then my mate said he didnt like idear off modifiying it to fit as it out xr4i ,so this tunnel was found swaped for a spliter i made the lad was going get andy build him one but i put link up to one been sold an he bought it so didnt need in the end

mine sat in mates dads unit top bloke




as i did with last one before went andys ,i removed all brakets in engine bay ,

red bits are were brakets been removed










going use this reardiff mount if i can save making one



started removing chassie legs off new tunnel,was going use these on the focus but my jig wount let me as i carnt get long bolts in with out modifing me jig

will be using these as i got another set been made now



as you can see garage a rite mess after stripning ten layers paint of a bonnet so have get cleand before shell gets back



bourght a few bits satday new gaz bottle save me renting one an new regulater as different fiting to old one ,get me welder back from unit this week as finished welding rs turbo upits going for jiging thursday or friday im helping so shud be done in day ,will up date when its back

me garage is at home glen lol,work for me self so when i dont have work on ,which seems to be a bit at min ,im in the garage ,

hence why i do things like this an the bonnets keep me busy an bita money comin in plus its what i love doing

not really as andys work topnotch just wanted a go me self was going make it so heater matrix could be used outa the focus also il be puting different boot floor in ,picking trailer up to nite than off to body shop tomro first thing for straightning fella did say he would nock it out in day but will see ,they always say that ,not big job pull straight tho could do me self if only had jig

 

managed to get trailer to nite had take sum massive oak beams off with folk lift

but got trailer home bit of mission reversing up me drive in dark but managed all winched on ready for takin in morning

bad news about the van breaking ,all fixed now though good news on the focus cant wait to see pics

the shell just had inner outa sill pulled out its a mess at min till i get new parts welded in just trying find out if a normly focus sill will do or have try get rs one ?

well iv been away in warrington alweek so soon as i got home went straight in garage ,draged the car in side an started ripping it apart ,got bit done as only couple hours ,will get bit more done tmro after work in morning an geting some measurements for ian coleyst200 from me other shell

gna take me while to repair the damage need a section of car or inner outa sill
not sure if i can even buy a sill for a rs will weld a bar across door for now as me funds to low buy parts

think il be doing this pretty much on me own as bats buzy converting his garage an storage rooms in to some were for him live ,an rob helping his dad (fella were me shell kept) they busy renovating a house 2

repairing the sill will take me the time if i can buy rs one rest easy lol
