do u think u can help me i cant decide between an escort or an rs500 ive been thinkin for ages and i just can't make my mind up.

I am very lucky to have a RS 500 and a escoss , but if i had to sell one it would be the hardest thing to choose
But for the investment aspect i would keep the 500

Sorry but some of you need to take your blinkers off. The Escos is easily the better looking. Not saying it's the better car, but looks wise it wins hands down. The 500 has the ugliest back end ever and looks pretty lame from side on. It's only cool at the front and to be honest the only ones that look cool all round are the moonstone ones with Escos wheels like Chip's

I've got an Escos and gotta say if I had the choice it would be a RS500 all day long. Looks tougher, rear wheel drive, rare as fook and ready for serious power

Only problem is, I'd be too scared to drive it cos of the mileage/rare factor the car has.

 

i would love to be in a situation to have either but i do like to play with my cars and playing with a 500 would be silly as low milers and un modified will be the most valuable.

i'd go fo the escos but then the 500 is bloody gorgeous.

ive been thinking the same thing myself. i'd really want a RS500 but would also want people other than ford buffs to appreciate what just drove past. think the escort wins in that respect. still - you buy a car for yourself so it has to be a RS 500!
