Default rs turbo engine in capri

hey all my mate just bought another capri with no engine in and ive got a spare rs turbo engine floating around anybody know whats needed to fit a cvh into a capri?

i know they did sierra's with cvh engines so is it possible to adapt the mounts or crossmember?

also would i need a sierra cvh sump?

any help would be much appreciated

Sounds good mate Not sure, haven't heard of that before but I don't see it being too difficult (don't quote me on that lol )

think where gonna have a look today gonna test fit the engine in and work the rest out from there

you possibly might have clearance issue with distributor, efi would cure that though

yeh the engine ive got is a fiesta turbo unit with ofab

there was a blue capri a few yrs ago on ebay with the conversion ,and there was an old 100e pop at old ford autos in bracknell with one in.

You might have to drill the block for the RWD mounts ? and the downpip/turbo will probably be in the way of those as well ?
