hi there guys and girls..

Right a mate of mine has put a depost down on my leon and i am currently saving for an rs.

Basically i have been lookng around and can see myself having about 8.5k by june, The problem is the rs that this money would buy woud be high millage ! , I know a few have done it on here. But how much would i be looking to build one from say a 2ltr esp ? ..

Im talking full engine and all , possibly a 6 speed from an st170 and obviously the body..

ideas would be helpfull !!

save extra 500quid an get a low milage one mate ,friend payed 9grand for his 40od thousand miles .as buying panels for these is price quaters are like hens'z teeth ,an you got finished car instead having source all parts to build one

 

A standard car is cheaper than a modified car in the long run.

 

deffo just save Ł500 more as building one from your car will cost alot more when you start finding little bits you need trust me i have done it

 

as above mate it become a money pit! lol

 

& it will always be a replica, never an orignal propper RS
