I'm sure a lot of you have read or seen various posts already but I can confirm that it is true. I'm sure there will be several people with money paid to Chris and no parts and all I can advise is that if you have paid by card or Paypal is to get onto them as soon as possible to see what can be done.

Knowing Chris personally this was the last thing he wanted. He has tried his hardest to avoid this including relocating to cheaper premises. I want people to realise that he is not a limited company he is a sole trader so he essentially loses everything not just the business. So when people start slagging him off about losing a few hundred quid bare it in mind.
I am gratefull for what Chris has done for the scene and it is a great shame to see such a business go under.

this is purely to inform those that have used/awaiting parts from him that he is no longer trading

 

shame! chris is a good lad. i'll be on the phone to him tomorrow i think.

 

What a shame, ive spoken to him a couple of times and seams a proper clued up and genuine guy.

 

il be very surprised if he answers tbh mate many people will be trying to get hold of him

 

he is very much that but as others have said on other forums people start up small and grow too quick and cant cope with the demand and him sacking all his staff due to not trusting them and going at it alone killed him off tbh

 

Always a shame when someone's business goes tits up but being a sole trader unfortunately leaves him open to litigation from disgruntled customers. Should have taken the precaution of being a limited company.

 

I read about this all the time on mig, but then again there just as many posts about him being spot on and going out his way to help anyone he can

 

Shame that i was going to order some xe parts off him soon too.

 

I have other means of contacting him!! I've been mates of Chris's for about 7 years now.

 

He couldn't afford to keep his staff!!
