I've just bought a Mondeo (03) with 83,000 miles. The car has got a slight oil leak and the gear crunches every time that i put it into fourth (but only fourth), also i'm only getting around 32mpg around town....

I've booked the car into the garage tomorrow, but any help off you guys would be great as i'm at a loss....

Oil leak could be a lot of things, gearbox sounds expensive like a 4th gear synchro which will need a g/box strip, mpg again could be many things, await their verdict and go from there.
